My Top 10 Books for Latter-day Saints

Faith is Not Blind by Bruce C. Hafen

Faith Is Not Blind

This book really opened my eyes to the world of doubt and how easy it can be for us to go down that path. I loved the insights and knowledge this book gave me. I can ask myself sincere questions that lead me toward God, not away.

The Crucible of Doubt by Terryl L. Givens

The Crucible of Doubt

This one is probably in my top 2 books for Latter-day Saints. It’s a no-fluff book that pushes you to ask hard questions and see faith and doubt in a whole new way. I loved it!

The Holy Covenants by Anthony Sweat

The Holy Covenants

If you have any questions about the covenants we make in the temple, this book is for you. It lays it out quite clearly and respectfully. I would recommend anyone who is going or has gone through the temple to read this.

Another book that tackles faith and doubt. I loved the stories and insights this book gives. It was very uplifting and empowering.

A Case for the Book of Mormon by Tad R. Callister

A Case for the Book of Mormon

You may have heard many different rumors as to why the Book of Mormon couldn’t all be true. Joseph Smith must have made some of it up, or it just doesn’t add up. Historian and scholar Tad Callister tackles all of these “cases” and proves in a trial-like way how the Book of Mormon IS true. Spiritually, and logistically.

Seekers Wanted by Anthony Sweat

Seekers Wanted

Another great book for those who may be trying to find their through a Church with a lot of questions. This book lays out the framework for seeking questions to get true answers, not worldly answers.

This book was SO interesting and enlightening. I don’t know if I can even begin to explain the premise of it. It talks about how actual light has physical properties to strengthen us spiritually. Light can actually testify and prove that God exists and that we are all connected. Truly fascinating.

This was a quick, but good read about how the Spirit works. Learn how He speaks and testifies to you.
