After posting this reel a couple weeks ago, I realized that there are so many of you out there who want Latter-day Saint garment-friendly outfits for staying cool this summer. Now, let me preface this blog post by saying that I am no fashion blogger. But I do like finding cute clothing pieces that fit my style. And I’m always happy to share.
I decided to break this post down into five categories: tips for staying cool, summer dresses, outfits I have, outfits I want, and my favorite non-see-through white tees.
Tips for Staying Cool
- Wear looser clothes. Shirts, shorts, skirts, etc. Buy one size bigger if it works. Looser is cooler. Just make sure it covers everything you want covered.
- Accessorize simple outfits. I tend to wear minimalistic pieces like solid bottoms and a white or black tee. Keep outfits cute and stylish by wearing jewelry, a fun purse, cute shoes, or even a sun hat!
- Make the perfect length shorts by cutting jeans. See previous reel for a how-to.
- Find some skirts and dresses you love! If you find a light-weight skirt or dress it is really much cooler than shorts or pants that stick to you.

Summer Dresses
