So, You Want to Share Goodness on Social Media

share goodness on social media

You feel it, don’t you? That little nudge. You’ll be scrolling, and you’ll think:

  • I should share something like this…
  • I should say something about my testimony…
  • I should post more uplifting things…

And then just as quickly…you don’t. Because:

  • You don’t know what to say
  • You don’t want people to think you’re trying to be an influencer
  • You don’t want to sound preachy
  • You don’t want to offend anyone
  • You feel awkward, self-conscious, maybe even a little embarrassed

So you keep scrolling. And the nudge keeps coming back. Well, here’s your sign! Did you know that the Church said this: “If you use social media, share messages and content that bring light and joy into your life—things that truly inspire you and make you happy.” That’s where I come in.

So Why Haven’t You Started?

Not because you’re lazy. Not because you don’t care. It’s because you’re a good person. And good people think things like:

  • “What if I say it wrong?”
  • “What if someone disagrees with me?”
  • “What if people think I’m fake?”
  • “What if I can’t defend what I say?”

You’re not the only one. Almost every woman I talk to feels this exact same tension:

I want to share… but I don’t know how to do it without feeling weird.

So instead of doing it imperfectly…we don’t do it at all.

The 4 Lies Keeping You Stuck

Let’s call them out, because once you see them clearly, they lose their power.

Lie #1: “I have to post all the time”

You don’t need to post every day. You don’t need a content calendar color-coded to perfection. You just need consistency.

That could look like:

  • 1–3 times a week
  • One simple thought
  • One real moment

Lie #2: “People will think I’m trying to be an influencer”

Some people mightMost won’t. But more importantly—it doesn’t actually matter. Because your intent shows.

There’s a difference between:

  • Performing
  • and sharing

And people can feel it.

Lie #3: “I don’t want to offend anyone”

This one is really common! But here’s the truth: You can be both kind and clear.

You don’t have to:

  • Argue
  • Defend everything
  • Prove anything

You can simply share what you believe and what has helped you. That’s not offensive. That’s honest.

Lie #4: “I don’t know how to do it right”

There is no “right.” There is no perfect formula. There is no moment where you suddenly feel 100% confident and polished.

There is only:
Starting
Learning
Adjusting

That’s it!

So… Where Do You Start?

Start small. Start simple. Start today.

Not when:

  • You feel more confident
  • You have more time
  • You figure everything out

Because that day doesn’t come. Confidence comes after you start! Not before.

If You’re Sitting There Thinking… “I want to do this… I just don’t know what to post.”

I made a free guide for you! Because I don’t want “I don’t know what to say” to be the reason you stay silent!
