Believe Love Do: 30 Ministering Texts

ministering texts

Need some help ministering? These 30 ministering texts are an easy and effective way to start connecting with your neighbors today.

In last October’s general conference, President Uchtdorf gave a beautiful talk called Believe, Love, Do.  Although Elder Uchtdorf didn’t directly speak about ministering, I thought those three words perfectly described the way we can minister to one another.

In the spirit of ministering, we should all seek personal revelation on how we can best serve those around us. Ministering can be done in a variety of individualized ways.  Sister Jean B. Bingham said, “it looks like visiting in person or talking on the phone or chatting online or texting.”  Here are 30 things you can text (or write, or say, etc.) to let someone know you believe in them, love them, and would do anything for them. Believe

I know you can accomplish your goal. Don’t give up!

Remember, the darkest hour is always followed by the brightest dawn.

Do you remember this conference talk? It really spoke to me. What are your thoughts?

You are so strong, I admire your determination.

You have come so far! I can’t wait to see where life takes you next.

We are friends for a reason. How can I help you today?

Don’t forget: God has faith in you, and so do I.

No obstacle is too great for you. You are amazing!

I really admire your faith. Thanks for your example.

I read this scripture today and thought you would like it too.

Love

If you ever feel overwhelmed, please let me know how I can help you.

I am so grateful for you. I’m glad we have become friends. Love you!

You are enough. You matter. You are loved.

Just thought you should know that you are awesome!

I saw this meme today and thought of you.

Seeing you today totally made my day!

I’m so glad we met. I can’t imagine not being friends.

If you ever need to chat, I’m a great listener.

You are so inspiring! You motivate me to want to be a better person.

I hope we are still friends when we are 90!

DO

Can I walk your dog?

What can I pick up at the store for you?

I have a free afternoon, can I take your kids for a while?

I’m going to get a drink, what can I bring you?

Can I come help you fold laundry while we watch your favorite movie?

Let’s go to lunch sometime. When works for you?

I’ve been dying to see this movie. Should we do a movie night?

Do you need a ride to church? I can pick you up on my way!

Would your family like to come to dinner? I make a mean cheesecake!

Could you teach me how to paint/sew/decorate/etc. ?

These can be a great starting point for you to use and to personalize for your sisters, neighbors, and friends.  Happy ministering!
