Parents and in-laws are the hardest people on my list every single year. Not because they’re picky, but because they genuinely have everything, and if they want something, they just buy it themselves! So over the years I’ve changed my strategy completely: no more stuff. Now I give faith, food, connection, and cozy upgrades — gifts they get to feel, not just shelve.
If you’re shopping for parents or in-laws like mine, this list is for you. Every one of these has landed well at our house, and several of them are traditions now.

Faith-Centered & Sentimental
1. Christ-centered Art
I hand-picked all of these beautiful paintings because they spoke to me in some way. I love them, and I bet your loved ones will too!
2. Haven Light Art
Beautiful Christ-centered art for the home, in styles for every taste. Use code BECKYSQUIRE for 20% off. Art is my go-to for the parent who “doesn’t need anything” — there’s always a wall that could use more light.
3. The Holy Covenants by Anthony Sweat
Living our sacred temple promises, explained with warmth and depth. For parents who love the temple (or who are preparing to serve there), this book is a treasure.
4. The Founder of Our Peace
Christ-centered patterns for easing worry, stress, and fear. This is one of the most-loved books I’ve ever shared — it meets people right where they are, whatever season of life they’re in.
5. Hear Him: General Conference Journal
My own General Conference journal — a simple, beautiful place to record impressions conference weekend and all year long. This one is close to my heart, and it makes a sweet gift for parents who never miss a session.
6. Tiny 3D Temples
Their temple — where they were sealed, where they serve, where their kids were married — miniaturized for the shelf. Sentimental without being one more knick-knack, because this one means something.
7. Book of Mormon Journal Edition
Wide margins for a lifetime of notes and impressions. For the parent whose scriptures are already marked in three colors, a fresh journal edition is a genuinely happy gift.
8. Born to Change the World by Brad Wilcox
Your part in gathering Israel. Uplifting, energizing, and perfect for parents in a new season of service and grandparenting.
9. Doodle Beads Christus Necklace
A dainty gold Christus necklace that comes with a thoughtful card. For a mom or mother-in-law, it’s personal, wearable, and faith-filled all at once.
Gifts That Don’t Add Clutter
10. Skylight Calendar
A digital family calendar for their wall that syncs everyone’s schedules — and doubles as a photo frame. Grandkids’ games, family dinners, missionary email day: it’s all right there, and family photos rotate through all day. This is the gift my parents didn’t know they needed.
11. Citrus Pear Meal Bundle
Freezer meals, done for them. Use code BECKYSQUIRE for $10 off. Giving parents a week of not cooking is a love language all by itself.
12. Buttermints Gift Tins
Gourmet, delicious, and gone in the best way. Use code BECKY20 for 20% off. Consumable gifts are the secret weapon for people who have everything.
13. Just The Fun Part Dubai Chocolate Cones
Bite-size crispy waffle cones filled with chocolate — the trendy treat everyone keeps talking about. A fun little luxury they’d never buy themselves.
14. Picture Frames + Your Printed Family Photos
Here’s the trick: the frames are just the delivery vehicle. Print your favorite family photos from the year — the missionary, the grandkids, the whole crew at the reunion — and fill them before you wrap. That gift gets opened, cried over, and displayed. Guaranteed.
Cozy Upgrades
15. Heated Blanket with Dual Controls
His side warm, her side warmer. The upgrade they would never buy themselves but will use every single night from December to March.
16. Cooling Blanket
For the parent who sleeps hot no matter the season. Lightweight, silky, and genuinely cooling — it sounds small, but better sleep is a big gift.
17. Outdoor String Lights
Cafe lights for their patio or porch. You’re not really giving them lights — you’re giving them a hundred slow evenings outside together.
18. Moving Sand Art Picture
A mesmerizing little sandscape that changes every time you turn it. It sits on a desk or shelf and somehow everyone who visits ends up flipping it.
More Trending Ideas
19. Walmart Plus
Grocery delivery is every parent’s dream! Grab them a one-year subscription and they will love you forever!
20. Audible Subscription
All the books, none of the shelf space. Perfect for parents who walk, drive, or work in the yard — and a subscription means the gift keeps arriving all year.
21. Fresh Flowers
Sometimes, a fresh bouquet of flowers is all they need. Brighten their day and their space with a custom arrangement just for them!
My best tip for the has-everything parent: ask yourself, “Will this make them feel something, eat something, or sleep better?” If the answer is yes, you’ve found the gift.
