If parents are the hardest people to shop for, teens and tweens are a very close second. They have strong opinions, group chats, and a sixth sense for spotting a “mom gift” from clear across the room. So this year I went straight to the source: what they’re actually asking for, what’s trending, and the favorites I know land well at our house.
This guide is a mix — the trending gifts teens and tweens are genuinely excited about this year, plus the faith-centered picks I love giving our youth: scripture helps they’ll actually use, Sunday-ready favorites, and a few things that get the whole family to the table. Several of these are the exact things on my own teenagers’ lists.

For Teen Boys
1. SHOKZ OpenRun Bone Conduction Headphones

Open-ear headphones, so he can hear his music AND the traffic — he’s not tuned out from the world on his run or his ride to practice. These are the ones I feel good about him wearing everywhere.
2. Garmin Watch
For the boy who’s suddenly serious about his mile time. It tracks his workouts and even suggests the next one — basically a coach on his wrist.
3. Silent Basketball
He can practice dribbling in the house without driving the whole family crazy. You’re welcome.
4. SCODI Men’s Flannel Shirt Jacket

The shacket every teen boy lives in all winter — sherpa-lined and warm, and it makes any outfit look like he actually tried.
5. Nike Men’s Dri-FIT Shorts

If your son rotates the same three pairs of shorts like mine does, here’s the fresh pair for the rotation. Same shorts he already loves — just not stretched out yet.
6. BOM Socks

Book of Mormon socks — the stocking stuffer he’ll actually wear, to church, seminary, and everywhere else. A tiny bit of faith on his feet.
7. Boon Ties

A Sunday-best tie he’ll actually reach for — getting ready for church just got about 10% less dramatic. Use code BECKY when you order.
8. Feastables MrBeast Peanut Butter Cups

MrBeast candy in the stocking equals instant cool points. Gone by New Year’s, guaranteed.
For Teen Girls
9. Eye Mask Gift Box
Perfect little indulgence every girl needs.
10. Shine Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette

Clean beauty I feel good handing my daughter — soft, wearable colors she’ll reach for every single day.
11. Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 39 Body Mist

THE scent every teen girl wants this year. Coconut-vanilla, sweet but not too grown-up — expect it to be spritzed before school, church, and everywhere in between.
12. Kitsch Heatless Curlers
She wraps her hair before bed and wakes up with curls. No heat, no damage — it’s all over TikTok, and honestly, it works.
13. Jesus Loves You Hoodie
These hoodies are so hot right now, and they come in lots of colors.
14. Book of Mormon Journal — Pink Floral

Wide margins for doodles, notes, and seminary thoughts — the prettiest way to start a scripture habit. This pink floral cover is even lovelier in person.
15. Doodle Beads Gold Christus Necklace

A tiny gold Christus she can wear every day. Sweet for Young Women gifts, birthdays, and just-because reminders of Him.
16. The Selection 5-Book Box Set by Kiera Cass

The YA series teen girls pass around like currency — clean romance, ballgowns, and secret princes. She’ll finish all five by January.
For Tweens (and Everyone Else)
17. Pickleball Paddle Set
The whole family ends up playing — church gym nights, driveway tournaments, all of it. One of those rare gifts that gets everyone off the couch together.
18. Echo Dot
Music, audiobooks, and an alarm clock that actually gets them up in the morning. (Early-morning seminary parents, I see you.)
19. LEGO Icons Set
The build-and-display sets tweens and teens both love — this orchid looks like real décor when it’s done, so it earns its shelf space.
20. Moon Lamp
A glowing moon for their nightstand that changes colors — cozy, cool, and somehow calming at homework time. This one is a hit with every age on my list.
21. Schylling NeeDoh Nice Cube

The squishy cube every tween is obsessed with right now. Stocking-stuffer price, hours of fidgeting.
22. Ransom Notes Party Game

Build ridiculous ransom notes out of word magnets — the family game that gets teens to the table voluntarily. We laugh until we cry with this one.
23. How to Be a Person: 65 Skills to Learn Before You’re Grown Up

Funny and actually useful — the book version of everything you’re already trying to teach them, from laundry to thank-you notes.
24. LDS Teen Books — My Curated List

My running list of books Latter-day Saint teens actually finish — not just start. Grab one, or browse the whole shelf and let them pick.
25. Born to Change the World by Brad Wilcox

Brad Wilcox wrote this one straight to youth, and it lands. It will make your teen feel like gathering Israel includes them — because it does.
26. 365 Questions for Teens
Getting your teen to open up isn’t always easy. Sometimes, finding the right question is all you need to get a discussion started.
27. One Minute Scripture Study in the New Testament
One minute a day is a habit even a busy teen can actually keep — and with the Old Testament coming up in Come, Follow Me, this is the perfect time to start.
My best tip for shopping for teens and tweens: when in doubt, choose the thing they’ll use every day — the headphones, the cozy lamp, the book they’ll pass to a friend. Daily use beats big-and-forgotten every single time.
